What lozenges can I take for a sore throat if I am pregnant?

I am pregnant and I had the covid 3 days ago. I have a big sore throat (pain when I swallow, when I eat) and I'm starting to have mucus.

Hello, ma'am,
Halls or Fisherman's Friend lozenges are safe during pregnancy.
You can also take acetaminophen (Tylenol and other brands) for a little longer relief.
If you have congestion or runny nose, I strongly recommend nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as needed during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, you can reduce the backward flow of secretions, which often causes coughing. I also encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, depending on your preference.
Finally, if you haven't already done so, I encourage you to take a quick test for COVID as a precaution.
I hope this helps, and I am available if you have any further questions!

Hello,
thank you for the recommendations. Is NeilMed (salt water rinse) safe for pregnancy?
i currently have such a sore throat that it feels like I have bronchitis or laryngitis. Unless it's really just the covid. Yes, I had the covid test 3 days ago and it came out positive. Is there any other medication I can take other than what you mentioned? Also, is it currently dangerous for the baby? Thank you

Yes, the NeilMed device is safe during pregnancy. For pain, the measures mentioned (lozenges, Tylenol, hydration +++) are the safest and most effective at this time
Unfortunately, several references indicate a higher risk of complications from COVID in pregnant women. If your condition deteriorates, you should contact a doctor quickly. Furthermore, I invite you to fill out the following link to register your positive result:
