Hi, I have a cousin overseas who was given Dilantin for epilepsy last week. Can you give us the essential information about the medication? Will it stop his epilepsy for good? Thanks!

Hi!

First off, the goal is to reduce the risk of having seizures again but it might not be 100% effective.

Main side effects may include dizziness, headaches, nausea and drowsiness, among others.
