Hello, I have been taking the Evra patch for almost a year. This month, I am out of control. What can I do?

Hello, I have been taking the Evra patch for almost 1 year now and I have never had a period that was not regulated. It always arrives on time, but I had my period a week early, knowing that I was sick this month if I had strep throat, I was hospitalized and I took a lot of antibiotics, so I don't know if it's due to this that my period is a bit disturbed, but I have always taken my pill (patch). Could I have your opinion on this situation, please? Thanks in advance

Good evening,
So, if I understand correctly, this is the first time you have had your period in advance with the Evra stamp, right?

Thank you for the clarification. From what you mentioned in your description, it's obvious that if this is the first time it's happening, it's not the product itself that's at fault, but much more the medical situations you've experienced. Obviously, hospitalization, angina, infections and all the stress that this may have caused can contribute to destabilizing your period (either delaying it or bringing it forward). At this point, I don't think it's worth changing your contraceptive or even doing anything other than watching for your next cycle. It may come back later
I hope I have answered your question
