My 9 1/2 month old daughter's urine has smelled very strong for the past 2 days. Should I be worried?

I have read that the smell of urine can be different depending on the food you eat. I've been giving her pureed vegetables that contain mushrooms (a food she hasn't tried yet) for 2 days now. Could this be the cause? If so, is it bad for her?

Hello Ma'am,
No, there is no need to worry. It is indeed due to eating new foods. Sometimes it even happens in a strictly breastfed child, where the mom has eaten a particular food (e.g. seafood, asparagus, etc.).
This is not harmful to her at all. It's just that her body is starting to get used to the presence of new foods.
