I did a 1 day Canesten treatment for yeast vaginitis and it has been over 3 days and it seems to be coming back. What should I do?

Also, my period should start in 2-3 days. Could I do a second treatment afterwards?

Hello Ma'am,
What exactly are your symptoms? Secretions and their color? Irritation on the vulva? Particular odor?
In general, for vaginitis, I recommend taking the 6-day treatment that contains both the internal and external product. It is usually more effective and less irritating according to patient experiences. It can be used during menstruation with no problems!
If symptoms subside before the treatment is finished, finish it anyway!
Don't hesitate to contact me with any additional questions.
Happy day,

Hello,
Symptomatically, it's a thick, gritty white discharge with no odor, mild itching but mostly an irritated feeling in the vulva.
When I did the 1 day Canesten treatment, the discharge returned to a slightly more liquid and translucent appearance for the first 2 days after treatment, but it returned to a more granular appearance after that. Is it too irritating for my body to consider starting a 6 day treatment a few days after doing the 1 day one?
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply!
We could try a 6 day treatment that contains both the internal and external product. This is because products with a longer treatment are usually not very irritating. If you don't see any improvement after 3 days with the 6-day treatment, then I would recommend that you see your doctor.
If symptoms subside before the end of the treatment, finish it anyway!
