I am pregnant and I have vaginal discharge?

Hello, I am 5 weeks pregnant and I have a thick brown discharge, no clear blood. What should I do? Is this normal? If I take a pregnancy test and compare the second line with the first test from a week ago, is the indicator OK?

Thank you for your question! The symptom you describe is not worrying. It can happen often during pregnancy, and does not necessarily indicate a problem, especially if you do not have any other symptoms. As for the comparison of pregnancy tests, it doesn't really give much: a pregnancy test can even appear positive following a delivery... I am not suggesting that there is a problem with your pregnancy. However, if you see that the problem is getting worse, or that other symptoms are occurring, I invite you to talk to your doctor.
