Taking multiple medications is not a common cause of night sweats. Some medications (such as a new antidepressant called Viibryd, some endometriosis treatments or antineoplastic treatments) may be involved. It may be a good idea to check with your pharmacist to see if you are taking any of these medications or if not, to talk to your doctor so that he or she can reassess the situation with you

My doctor has no idea what it could be. I had blood work done and except for my vitamin D which was low everything was fine. I am really disturbed by this situation because I never get a good night's sleep!

It is unlikely that a lack of vitamin D is the cause of these night sweats. Unfortunately, in this situation, I could not be of much help to you, as I do not have access to the medications you are taking. Your pharmacist, who has your medication records, could see if one of your medications could be the cause. If not, the situation will have to be re-evaluated by a health professional (doctor, dentist, etc.) to try to find a medical cause for your night sweats
