Hello, Bleeding at the beginning of IUD use can be normal. When was your last period?

It goes back to the first of May, but it never lasts that long

Thank you for this information. Please be aware that with IUDs, it is very common for the amount and length of menstrual periods to change. In the case of Kyleena™, about 59% of women experience longer periods and 52% experience "spotting", which is bleeding at unexpected times. And this is completely normal, nothing to worry about. All this can take up to 6 months to settle. After this period, the bleeding usually decreases a lot.
