Sinusitis: Can I take Nasonex and Salinex more often?

I am currently being treated with clavulin for bronchitis-sinusitis. I have also been prescribed Nasonex twice a day. I have only been on it for 2 days so I am still very congested. I use Salinex before Nasonex but I would like to know if I can use it more often and what are the maximum doses per day. The bottle says 2-3 times a day, but does this refer to normal daily maintenance? Can I take it as needed?

Hello, There is no problem using Salinex several times a day as needed to help relieve congestion. The only downside might be a slight nasal irritation, but that would be quite surprising. If this occurs you can simply moderate your use. Make sure you have blown your nose before taking Nasonex and after using Salinex to make sure the Nasonex is fully effective! Hopefully the sinusitis is relieved quickly! Good evening and happy New Year 2019, Michael
