Back pain?

56-year-old woman2 years ago
I have back pain that is different from what I had before. I have not had a family doctor since June and I have new symptoms related to my health. Belly pain, back pain. I have diabetes and I must admit that I find it distressing to be left alone like this without a family doctor, especially since the last pelvic ultrasound I had, the doctor diagnosed me with Nash's disease by chance and I am less and less fit. Would it be wise to consult? And where? I don't see myself going to the emergency room and not having a family doctor, I don't know.

Hello, thank you for your question!
Are you taking anything for the pain? Have you been to physical therapy?
Thank you in advance?

Hello, I've been consulting physio and osteo for years. It's just that lately my pain has really increased and changed... in my lower back, it's totally new as pain and in my upper back (sternum level) it's like stab wounds going through me. I feel that it is not like before. Of course I am getting older but I feel that there is something... Since I no longer have a family doctor I have been placed at the bottom of the orphan patient list, I wonder if there are procedures to move up the list.
I feel like I could use some follow up but I'm let go. Lots of little symptoms add up but are not disabling to my daily functioning.

Thank you for the clarification, however this is unfortunately beyond the scope of practice of the pharmacy:(
You will need to consult a physician, for a thorough evaluation. There are several platforms that can be used such as Hello Health which can help get an appointment at a nearby clinic, or Maple Health.
Sorry I can't be more helpful at this time
