Will I be less protected by the pill for the next few days if I forget 1 pill during the 3rd week of the pack?

Hello, I have been taking the clareal pill for 2 years. I start my pack every Monday. I am on the 3rd week of my pack. I realized that I forgot to take my pill last night (Monday), so I took it this morning at 8:20 am (12:20 am difference).

Hello,

It is considered a problem if a person is not able to take the forgotten tablet more than 24 hours after the usual time of taking it.

In your case, if you took the forgotten pill the next morning and you will continue to take your pill at the same time in the evening, even if it means taking 2 pills in the same day, there is no loss of effectiveness of the pill. Thus, there is no additional protection to take.
