Hi, What cold symptoms do you have specifically and for how many days? Normally, a virus lasts 7 to 10 days before your immune system eliminates it completely. For fever and headache/throat, Tylenol (or acetaminophen) remains your best choice during breastfeeding, take 1-2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. If you also have nasal congestion, I suggest using a saline rinse (such as Hydrasense, Sinus rinse or Salinex) in the morning and evening. If you also have a cough, drink a lot of water to reduce throat irritation and liquefy the mucus. If your symptoms last more than 7-10 days in total or if you have a fever lasting more than 48 hours despite the Tylenol or green/dark yellow colored secretions, then I suggest you consult a doctor at that time for a diagnosis. Hoping that this will be helpful, please do not hesitate to contact us again or another member of our team when we open on Monday morning at 9am. Thank you and get well soon! P.S.: If your breathing difficulties persist and worsen, consult your doctor so that he/she can check you and evaluate the severity of your condition.
