Edema Hello, I am 37 years old and I have had my legs from my knees to the tips of my feet for two weeks, maybe three. I don't know why they stay like this for 3 or 4 days. I take Naproxen and I had ibuprofen 600 for toothache .... I don't know what can make me have diabetes? Medication .... I am very swollen

Hello,
I will assume that it is both legs, otherwise a medical consultation is necessary
Leg edema is not a disease, but rather a symptom that can be caused by a wide variety of health problems. Taking anti-inflammatory drugs, such as naproxen and ibuprofen (which should not be taken at the same time), is one of them, but certain factors can also aggravate this problem, such as working on your feet or standing for a long time (or even sitting down), especially with the current heat. The first thing would be to stop the naproxen, however I don't know why it was prescribed, if stopping it is not an option for you or if it doesn't change the situation, you will have to consult. I hope I have helped you.

Yes, both legs and I know that my teeth are extremely painful. I'm having 4 teeth extracted on Wednesday and I'm very constipated and I have blood coming out instead of my stools. Is this normal? I also take zoloft and seroquel and rivotril 0.5 mg. I gained 45 pounds 25 in excess in one year And if I really need the seroquel 25 mg to sleep, are there other sleeping pills? I am on social assistance.
Thank you

If the blood is red, the bleeding is usually related to hemorrhoids (which is less worrisome than black blood coming from higher up the digestive tract). PEG powder (Lax-A-Day for example) will probably help (along with good hydration). Zoloft (and Seroquel) can cause weight gain, but so can edema (so that's the first thing you have to deal with). Yes, there are other anti-anxiety/antidepressants to try, in case of side effects (like weight gain), venlafaxine seems to cause less, in another family bupropion (Wellbutrin), can even make you lose weight, a combination can also be considered. But once again, it depends on the diagnosis. One can indeed try another sleeping pill (melatonin can also be tried). Your pharmacist will probably be able to get in touch with your doctor to make suggestions.
