Sexual intercourse stresses the nerves in the area, which could in some cases cause the symptoms you report. This does not necessarily indicate a problem, especially since you mention that the symptoms disappear afterwards. It could just be that your area is a little more sensitive after a relationship.

Therefore, there is not much you can do about it at this time. I would encourage you to see a doctor though, if the situation worsens or persists.
