My period is all out of whack after I forgot my pills last month. I'm taking them now as prescribed, but it won't go back. Is this normal?

Hello, Last month I lost a contraceptive pill in the sink and at the suggestion of the pharmacist I took the next one for the last 4 days of my pack and then I started another pack (the pink ones), but since then my period is a bit out of order. I had a little bit of menstruation the first days of my new pack and now it's coming back after 2 weeks. Is this normal?

Good morning, Madam, Yes, this is normal. In the situation you describe, you do not seem to have had a break between the two platelets. In doing so, your menstrual cycle has been somewhat disrupted compared to normal. The best thing to do is to continue taking the pill even though you are menstruating, so that you finish the entire package. This does not affect the effectiveness of the pill in terms of contraception, so do not worry. Have a good Sunday, Alexandre
