Can I go back on the birth control pill that I stopped taking last fall? I had left the package halfway through.

I had stopped the pill in January, because I didn't feel well (constantly bloated, heavy periods, etc). I want to start taking it again and I'm wondering if it's okay to start the same pack I started with or if it's better to start a new one.

To make it easier to take, it's best to start with a new packet, unless you plan to take it continuously (without stopping for menstruation). Is this the case?
