I stopped my contraceptive but my period is late?

Hello, I was taking the Marvelon birth control pill for about 10 years. I stopped it almost a month ago because we are trying to have a child but my period still hasn't started. Usually when I forgot it my period started the day after but nothing, so I was wondering if it's normal that I haven't had my period yet
