What is the maximum safe dose of Reactin?

Hello, in May I was sent to the dermatologists for several different allergy symptoms: rash, redness, runny nose, inflamed eyelids, itching, swelling, slimy nose, shortness of breath, exacerbated headache, fatigue++gastrointestinal problems, red eyes, bags under the eyes etc. They said it looked like hives. I started taking Reactin 20mg, 30mg and then tried Blexton (intolerance) and went back to 40mg but still had to take Benadryl once or twice a week because the attacks were the same. 3 weeks ago I tried to take 50 mg I saw a difference on my consumption of Benadryl but still sticky nose, red eyes, etc.. Now I'm at 60mg a day taken in the morning. Headaches seem to have diminished a bit, less runny nose and less sticky narrins but still red eyes. However I wonder if it is dangerous to intoxicate myself? I stopped the Avamys because I have the impression that I react badly to this medicine and I swell up my face, pocket under the eyes etc. but it was effective on the sticky narrins even to dry them. Still, I began to wonder if there was a contaminant in the air or mold in my home. It cost me 794$ but there are fungal contaminants in my home. I am in the process of dealing with the landlord but until he changes it, what can I do? My MD is aware of this and is going to do an allergy test because in the last 2 years I have developed all sorts of new allergies including anti-inflammatories, pollens, dust, lactose intolerance, egg intolerance, my whole digestive system is not working and neither am I. The biochemist is suggesting in the meantime that I buy an air purifier and cover the contaminated surface as best I can because there are spores that can get into the air. So, with my current medication which is still heavy, is there any danger for me to take Reactine at 60mg per day. (60mg duloxetine, 30mg viibryd, 40mg Vyvanse, Valtrex, 300 neurontin, xanax, zopiclone, flexeril, tridural, zomig, tylenols, ointment cream - I have chronic pain and chronic migraines, photosensitive, arnold's neuralgia etc I take B2 400mg magneiusm citrate 600mget and I stopped COQ10 because I was reacting strangely with this treatment recommended for migraines too Can Reactine 60mg intoxicate me and do you have any suggestions to help me with my immune system?

Hello, thank you for your question!
Doses of Reactin up to 40mg per day have been prescribed for short periods of time, or with closer medical monitoring. It is not recommended to take more than this dose as it has not been extensively studied for effectiveness or safety... To answer your question more simply, we do not know the effects of repeated doses of 60mg but I strongly advise you not to continue with this dose. I recommend that you consult your pharmacist to consider other options, or your doctor.
I hope this has been helpful to you, and I am available if you have any further questions!

Thank you, this brings me back to the situation 1) If I am at 40mg of Reactine per day and I have a rash/swelling/reddening type reaction and I take 2x Benadryl, am I at risk of intoxication or having harmful effects on my health? 2) What was the duration of the study at the 40mg dose of Reactine? 3) I have been at this 40mg dose since August 12, so 9 weeks. 4) My pharmacist who had suggested the Blexton trial given my severe reaction did not want to suggest the other drug in the same line so back to Reactin but at 40mg. 5) Neither my MD nor my pharmacist seems to know what to do and neither do I. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you for your help

1) taking Benadryl once a day in addition to Reactin should not cause a problem.
2) there is no exact duration of the studies with these high doses, they are only in the context of a crisis or severe allergic reaction, so at most 7 to 14 days.
Unfortunately for your other questions I do not have all the information necessary to make treatment recommendations, this is beyond what is possible on this platform.
Sincerely
