Can I use a muscle relaxant with my naproxen?

Severe back pain. Hi, I just went to get some naproxen. I took some Naproxen tablets that I already had at home this morning and it didn't help much. I am about to take another dose tonight. If this doesn't work I was told about a muscle relaxant. Which one should I get?

Hello, thank you for your question!
In order to better respond to your needs, would it be possible to know in which area of the back you have pain? Is it at the bottom, where the back meets the buttocks, or higher up, between the shoulder blades?

I have pain in my lower back. It looks like sciatica but I'm 29 years old... thanks

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, there is no age limit for back pain :(
You could, if you wish, try a muscle relaxant, but these have not really shown any benefits, except for causing drowsiness
Several products are available over the counter, I invite you to consult your pharmacist who will show you the products available, as well as those that do not interact with the Naproxene that you are taking
Sincerely
