I have a burning sensation in my throat at the end of my workouts. What can I do to alleviate this effect?

I work out regularly but this intensity is new. I've had noises before but I could easily fix them with a glass of milk.

Hello! There are several factors that can come into play here, including straining during intense exercise. I might suggest eating at least 1 hour before your workout, and favoring a light meal, and decreasing the consumption of acidic/irritating products. On the other hand, there is some information missing from the question, such as how long the burning lasts after it starts, if you have any other symptoms, if you are taking any prescription or over-the-counter medications... Finally, I would like to mention that milk can increase acid secretion in the stomach; it would be wise to avoid drinking it during your "reflux" episodes. For more personalized information, do not hesitate to see your pharmacist

I would say that the rustling lasts 15 min before the end of my workout (it lasts 1 hour) and at least 2 hours after it. I don't take any medication, but I do eat dairy products, it makes me a little sleepy.
