Can I take Ovol with my other medications?

Hello! I just bought Ovol for bloating. However, if I am already taking escitalopram, quetiapine and ferrous sulfate, is there any risk of mixing these medications with Ovol? Thank you very much!

Hello ma'am,
There are no clinically significant interactions reported withOvol. So you can take it with your medications without any problem. ๐Ÿ‘
However, you should not confuseOvol with Diovol, a product that is substantially similar toOvol but also contains minerals (e.g. aluminum, magnesium, calcium) that interact with your ferrous sulfate and decrease its absorption, and therefore ultimately the effectiveness of your iron supplement. You should space out taking Diovol and ferrous sulfate as much as possible (about 2 hours before or 2 hours after). ๐Ÿ’Š
So, in summary:
  • Ovol = no problem interacting with your medications;
  • Diovol = interaction with your iron, we space out at least 2hrs between taking each medication.
I hope this information will help you to see more clearly. Please feel free to contact me again with any other questions! ๐Ÿ˜Š
