Who can help me with my dermatillomania problem or what can I do to reduce my behavior?

Hello, I am wondering about a behavior that I have had since I was 8-9 years old. In fact, recently I realized or rather put a name on a behavior that I have which is dermatillomania (I scratch my head until it bleeds and it increases in times of stress). In short, I've reached the point where when I wash my hair it burns at the back of my head. I have a family doctor who is currently on sick leave but another doctor has been temporarily assigned to me. I would like to know what I should do with this problem since I have tried to solve it by myself several times without success.

yes, I recognize myself in it, but my daily life is not affected because I don't need to hide it. Having a lot of hair I am only embarrassed when I go to the hairdresser

Okay
As you read in the handout, psychotherapy can help. You can also discuss this with the doctor.
This behavior has been going on for many years, so be gentle and forgiving with yourself as you work through it.
