I am on birth control pills. My doctor told me that I would no longer have my period, or very little. I get my period every month.

My contraceptive pill is the one without estrogen, movisse, that's why my doctor informed me that I would not have my period anymore, or very little. My periods are still present, regularly every month, and in the same quantity. Could this be a sign that my pill is not effective or should I not worry?

Hello, about 10% of women who take this anovulant have an amenorrhea and therefore an absence of menstruation and this is not worrying. Your birth control pill is still effective. However, make sure you take your pill at the same time every day without a break. If you delay taking it for more than 3 hours, contact your pharmacist who will tell you what to do. Good evening, Marie-Pier
