Infected piercing, swollen ear and small ball of flesh. What can help?

Hello, I have an infected tragus piercing. On my doctor's recommendation, I removed the piercing yesterday and I have to apply an ointment of Fudicine 2% three times a day. However, I noticed a "lump" on the back of the tragus. Could this lump be carcinogenic? Do I need to consult again or with the antibiotic cream I was prescribed, should it go away?

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
You did the right thing by removing the piercing to give the area a chance to heal. Continue the application of the antibiotic ointment, and basic hygiene (water and mild soap) twice a day. Avoid touching the area other than for hygiene and application of the ointment. You should notice a gradual improvement every day.
If this is not the case, or if it persists for more than 7 days, you will have to consult again, as a precaution.
Sincerely
