Can a pharmacist prescribe antibiotics for a piercing infection?

I had my ears pierced 3 months ago. My left ear is still not healed and is sometimes painful. I don't know if I should go to a doctor or a pharmacist. Which is better?

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
First of all, have you tried anything for this?
In case of such symptoms, the piercing will have to be removed, this is the only way the ear will heal
You will have to clean the piercing thoroughly and wait until the ear is healed before putting it back in.
For the ear, only basic hygiene for now: clean with water and mild soap twice a day
If the situation does not seem to improve after 3 to 5 days, you should consult a doctor.
Sincerely

Hello!
I tried to clean around the earring, sometimes with soap, other times with a saline solution bought at the drugstore, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to put it back in or that the hole would close up if I took it out
I took it out a few times (once because there seemed to be a little pus), but I always put it back in immediately afterwards. Right now it's not red and doesn't look infected, just sore on occasion. I will try to take it off for a few days, thanks!

The worst that can happen is that the piercing has to be redone, but the only way to give the area a chance to heal is to remove the piercing until the pain or swelling is gone
