Often, the hot water of the shower brings an influx of blood to our epidermis, the surface of the skin and it is not uncommon for an itch to occur. In the shower, try to use an unscented and less drying soap. Also, a good unscented moisturizer applied daily after the shower will help to alleviate after a few days/week (ex: Cerave, Cutibase or Xemose or Lipikar dermocosmetic section)

Hi, I use Lipikar Syndet AP+ shower cream as well as the cream. I have also tried it with cold water and it still stings like crazy

It could be a little bit of hives. If the itching is too bothersome, taking an antihistamine like Reactine once a day should stop it
