Pain in my scar since I had surgery for a pilonidal sinus. Will it ever go away?

i have pain in my scar! i have been using tigerbalm every day for the last 3 weeks. for a muscle pain directly on my scar. the problem is that i work at a desk. what can i do? thanks

Hello Ma'am, If the surgery was less than 1 year ago, I would recommend that you do not apply Tiger Balm to the wound. This is because it can be irritating to the reconstructing skin and cause pain over time. The best thing in my opinion is to ask your employer to provide you with a position where you can work standing or sitting (e.g. Autonomous.AI ).
