Is it normal for my ear to be blocked after my antibiotic is finished?

Hello, Last Monday (this is Saturday), I went to my doctor because of an earache during the night. He diagnosed me with an ear infection (I don't know the type, but I had a cold). I am allergic to penicillin, so he prescribed Riva-Azithromycin (2 capsules the first night and one capsule for the next 4 days). At first, it was my right ear that hurt the most. With time, the pain disappeared, but my left ear remains blocked. I have difficulty hearing in that ear. Since I finished the antibiotic yesterday, I was wondering if this is normal, if my ear will clear up in the next few days and when should I go back to my doctor if it doesn't clear up soon?

Hello, thank you for your question!
Would it be possible to know if you used anything other than the antibiotic?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the clarification!
There may be some congestion. A good way to get rid of it is to perform nasal hygiene with Sinus Rinse, as often as necessary during the day. You can also use a decongestant nasal spray such as Drixoral or Dristan, but only for a maximum of 3 days, if there are no contraindications (e.g. breastfeeding). If the situation does not seem to improve, you should consult a doctor again.
I hope I've been of some help to you, and please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions

Perfect. I will try this product tomorrow. And after how many days do I have to tell myself that it's time to consult?

After the 3 days with the decongestant, if it does not seem to have improved.
