Hello, Normally, it is indeed ideal that you see a doctor when you first get a yeast infection, commonly called "vaginitis". This is to ensure the correct diagnosis. Good practice also requires that the doctor take a swab to properly characterize the type of yeast that is causing the infection! In your case, the description of your symptoms does not lead me to believe that you have yeast vaginitis. Of course, the appearance of redness is a symptom of vaginitis, but the bulla you describe is not one of the symptoms usually encountered. In this context, I would refer you to your family doctor for a proper diagnosis. It would be appropriate to go see a doctor quickly so that he can examine the lesion as it is now! I invite you to contact me if you have any other questions! It will be my pleasure to answer them. Sincerely, Stéphane Villeneuve, pharmacist
