Good evening, To be honest, liquid nystatin is the only topical antifungal that has any interesting function in treating your child's thrush. There are other treatment options, each more disappointing than the last, such as clotrimazole cream. You should be sure to give nystatin to your child and treat yourself (if nipple infection) as soon as you are done drinking. In your case, there is a clotrimazole cream available at the pharmacy or an ointment (from newman) that can be prescribed by your doctor if the infection becomes more important.
I wish I could tell you that there are other things, but I would focus mainly on the duration of treatment (treat longer if necessary) and on predisposing factors (are you able to identify something that causes the infection to reappear?). I will be happy to see you again at the branch if you have any further questions. Good evening
