Today I have a milk surge and I switched to bottles, so I was wondering what to do to make it go away? Thanks

Hello and congratulations on your baby.
You may decide to put baby to the breast and do mixed feeding. If this is not an option, you say you wish it would go away. Are you very uncomfortable or is it tolerable? If it's tolerable, you don't stimulate production and it will eventually dry up on its own. If not, cold compresses or cold cabbage leaves can be used for comfort as often as desired. You can also take acetaminophen or ibuprofen or naproxen if you are uncomfortable.
Severe engorgement should be avoided as this could lead to mastitis.
