First urinary tract infection in 19 year old male. Started Cipro. Does not take any other medication. Had a pyelonephritis at 1 month of age related to a narrowing of the pyelourethral junction. Hello ma'am, Supplementation with cranberries is unlikely to provide any additional benefit to the antibiotic at this time. He can take it if he wants, but not expect any benefit.
