Around noon yesterday, he urinated a blood clot before the urine ran red. it happened 4 times and then it was placed.
This morning it happened again. Another clot followed by a small drop of blood.

It looks like a urinary tract infection. He will need to make an appointment with a doctor within 24-48 hours if possible. It needs to be treated promptly (although it's not an emergency, but still). Pharmacists can prescribe antibiotics for uncomplicated UTIs in women under certain circumstances. In men, it absolutely takes a doctor's appointment.
