Hello, my husband, 54 years old, in good health, who works out regularly, started to urinate blood since yesterday. Around noon yesterday, he urinated a blood clot before the urine ran red. it happened 4 times and then it was placed. This morning it happened again. Another clot followed by a small drop of blood.

Hello,
In order to properly answer your question, I need to validate some information.
Does he have any other symptoms?
  • Significant lower abdominal pain?
  • Frequent and urgent urination?
  • Pain while urinating?
  • Presence of fever?
Is he taking anticoagulant medications?

It looks like a urinary tract infection. He will need to make an appointment with a doctor within 24-48 hours if possible. It needs to be treated promptly (although it's not an emergency, but still). Pharmacists can prescribe antibiotics for uncomplicated UTIs in women under certain circumstances. In men, it absolutely takes a doctor's appointment.
Hopefully this answers your question.
