I suffer from osteoarthritis in my hands, neck and sometimes my hips. What do you think of Genacol for these pains?

I am relieved with Naprosyn but I don't want to use it long term. However, I don't have pain every day, it's rather periodic. Sometimes my fingers hurt a lot and they are hot and red. I have had these arthritis pains for years. I am 70 years old, in good shape, I walk, I snowshoe. I take Estrogel, xarelto, omega 3, vit.d 1000mg.

Good morning, Madam,

I see that you are already doing what is necessary to adequately relieve your osteoarthritis, which is physical activity. You should continue to do so as often as possible, listening to your body when it gives you signs of pain or fatigue. That said, Genacol may be a good alternative to Naprosyn. Some people have very good results with this medication, while others feel almost no difference. It is therefore necessary to try it (ideally for 4 to 6 weeks) in order to see in which category you fall.
