I have been taking Reactine 20 mg once a day for years for allergic rhinitis. When fall comes, I have symptoms of watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, itchy mouth. Would switching to Rupall be more effective?

I have already increased to 30 mg during the fall and winter and it was effective. The symptoms become less in the spring and summer, but they get worse each fall.

Hello,
Changing your antihistamine for another one can sometimes provide better relief of symptoms. Have you ever considered using an intranasal corticosteroid (e.g. Nasonex, Avais, Nasacort)? These nasal sprays can significantly improve congestion and post-nasal drip. They may also help to reduce your eye symptoms (watery eyes)
I would discuss this with your pharmacist. These products may be available in the pharmacy lab under the supervision of the pharmacist. Perhaps you could try them...
