I haven't had my period for two months and I'm worried. What should I do?

I have been taking the aless pill for 4 years now. I have always been super regular but my last period was in July. During the summer I took antibiotics for a sinus infection and for a strep throat. I also took two pregnancy tests that were negative. Finally, I did an STD test which was also negative. I don't understand why I haven't had my period and that worries me. Thank you for your answer.

Also, during the month of August and a little bit during September I had discharge with blood in it, sometimes very intense, sometimes it was little.

Hello,
If I understand correctly, your last period was in July, but you still had light bleeding in August and September, but it lasted less than 4 days. Is that it?

If this is the case, be aware that it is common for this to happen without our being able to explain it. The important thing here is to continue taking your pill regularly, and to avoid stopping Alesse™ when you have light bleeding.
Have you ever thought about taking your pill continuously, that is, not taking the sugar pills but instead starting a new pack as soon as your 21 hormone pills are finished?

No I never thought about taking my pill continuously, should I?

And yes I have had some light bleeding but nothing like menstruation!

Thank you for this information.
Taking the pill continuously can further reduce the risk of getting pregnant. This is being adopted by more and more women who say they are stressed by delayed periods in some cycles. I think you should talk to your pharmacist or doctor about this possibility.
Happy ending,
Alexander
