I would like to know if the fact that his stools are more consistent and frozen is a positive sign of recovery and if he is contagious in terms of saliva?

Hello, for the last 12 days my 2 year old boy has had diarrhea. We believe that he ate a contaminated food (goldfish) because every time the diarrhea stops he eats his fish and it starts again .... Sunday morning was the last time we gave him any. The diarrhea started again with stools like water and this morning it is more like jelly. Note that he is drinking a lot of water, filling diapers with pee and he is active.

Hello Ma'am,
Yes, the fact that the stool is no longer "water" is a very good sign.
I recommend that you reset the food with foods that are not too high in sugar, such as vegetables or meat.

Thank you so much for your response it is so appreciated!
is he contagious through saliva or is it only his stool that is contagious. I'm keeping him away from my 4 year old daughter for now...
