I have had a metallic taste on my tongue for a few weeks. I thought it might be due to my medication (divalproex, Syntroid or acid reflux pill). Is this possible?

Some medications may indeed be responsible for this metallic taste adverse effect in the mouth. The medications you are taking are less common to present it, although not impossible. Are you taking other medications, over-the-counter medications, natural health products, homeopathic products or others? Here are some tips to help you get rid of this unpleasant taste: eat citrus fruits (except grapefruit), eat marshmallows and drink lots of water. Hopefully this information will help you! Thank you for your trust and we look forward to hearing from you!
