I am worried about getting pregnant because we have been trying to have a baby for almost 6 months. What should I do?

My ovulation tests are always negative despite my application to know my ovulation period. My mother-in-law only had my spouse because her two other babies died at birth (one at 3 weeks and the other at 2 months) and the doctor had told her that it was a very very risky pregnancy to lose him again. Are there any tests to be done to find out if my partner and I are compatible or at risk like his mother or maybe miracle solutions?
I am aware that some people take longer to work but I am still concerned.
Thank you so much!

Hello Ma'am,
It's true that this kind of situation can cause stress.
That said, in your situation and after 6 months of trying, it's completely normal that you haven't conceived yet. In fact, according to current data, about 25% of couples will take more than 6 months of "trying" before conceiving.
If it's been more than a year since you and your partner have been on trial and it's still not working, then a doctor may be consulted to go through the "battery of tests." Doctors don't pass it before that.
And regarding your mother-in-law, know that it shouldn't affect your chances of pregnancy at all.
