Are there any contraindications to treatment for a yeast infection if I am breastfeeding and have recently given birth (21 days)? Thank you

Hello;
A yeast infection should be treated even if you are breastfeeding. Several medications are compatible with breastfeeding.
What treatment have you been prescribed?

I don't have any treatment at the moment and was asking the question in order to make the right choice for my situation.

If it is indeed a yeast infection with symptoms similar to your previous episodes, your pharmacist may prescribe oral Fluconazole as a single dose, which is compatible with breastfeeding.
However, if you have fever, urinary symptoms, foul-smelling or non-whitish colored vaginal discharge, or abdominal pain, you should consult
