How long does it take to feel the effect of Hydroval?

67-year-old woman2 years ago
Young man, 23 years old, eczema with oozing on legs. My doctor prescribed hydroval and teva-topisone. I have been applying hydroval 3 times a day for 3 days. Little improvement. Would I be better off using teva-topisone instead? What is the difference between the two?

Hello!
What instructions did your doctor and/or pharmacist give you for topisone vs. Hydroval? Should Hydroval be started first? What is the size of the area to be treated?
Usually, some improvement can be expected after 10 to 14 days.

Thank you for the feedback,
Indeed we will give 10 to 14 days to evaluate the effectiveness of Hydroval. I strongly suggest that you apply a fragrance-free moisturizer like Base Glaxal, Aveeno, Cerave or other, at least 3 times a day , and use a fragrance-free soap like Dove. After showering or bathing, lightly pat the skin dry instead of rubbing, then apply the moisturizer within 5 minutes of getting out of the shower, as well as after Hydroval applications.
I hope I have been helpful to you, and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions
