My big toe has been numb for a week and I'm starting to find it bothersome. What can I do?

Good evening sir,
It depends:
  1. In what circumstance did the numbness occur? Do you know what caused it?
  2. Is there anything apparent on your toe?

Good evening , hope you are well?
1- after buying the new boots for my work (they are not too tight)
2- Nothing at all on the surface
I have numb big toe since 1 week , even when I don't wear my boots , even at night !

Thanks for those details!"
And yes, I am doing great. Thanks for asking 😊
It's a good bet that the numbness is from compression under the ball of the foot caused by your new boots (they don't necessarily have to be tight, just have a "bump" that points to a nerve under the foot).
So I recommend avoiding these boots at all costs for the next 7 days. If the numbness is not gone by that time, a podiatrist will be consulted.
