Hello Sir, sorry to read about your troubles!
Aloe vera based gels and creams are effective in relieving pain locally. However, you could also use any unscented moisturizer (like Aveeno for example) and apply it as many times as needed. You could even refrigerate the cream to make it a little more refreshing
For now, avoid showers that are too hot or too cold, and avoid scrubbing hard to dry
If you are not taking any other medications and do not have any drug allergies, ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) can be used for pain relief as well. Your pharmacist will be able to tell you the dose to take depending on the product you choose. This medication should be taken with food to reduce the risk of stomach irritation.
For the next few times, the application of sunscreen on any part of the body exposed to the sun should be done at least 30 minutes before going out, and regularly afterwards as needed (swimming, sweating, etc.)
I hope I have been helpful and remain available if you have any further questions!
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
