Interactions between Genacol and other drugs?

67-year-old woman3 years ago
I take a medication for hypertension, another for heart failure and an anticoagulant. Can I take Genacol for pain caused by arthritis?

Thank you for your question!
It is unlikely that Genacol will be effective for this problem. That being said, the medications you are taking mean that you should talk directly to your pharmacist: he or she can suggest treatment options that are less likely to interact with your medications, document your file, and do a follow-up personalized to your needs
Finally, it would be prudent to mention that moderate physical activity can greatly help with pain by maintaining an activity level that will prevent the vicious cycle of deconditioning
Sincerely, Tom Samaha, pharmacist
