How long have you had this headache?

How would you rate the pain on a scale of 1 to 10?

Is there anything that makes it better or worse?

Do you have any other symptoms (stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, vision problems, etc.)?

Have you taken your blood pressure recently?

Have you tried anything for the pain?

This headache I have had for 1 week on and off. The pain is not that sharp, but I would say 5 it is more unpleasant than painful. Nothing eases or worsens it and I have no other symptoms. I take my pressure during my pregnancy follow ups which is always ok. I have not taken anything for pain

So it sounds like a tension headache.

To be sure, have your spouse massage your trapezius and neck tonight.

If the pain decreases markedly, we'll have figured it out:)

Otherwise, you'll need to see a doctor tomorrow!
