Hi, my son was out in the sun yesterday and he had a rash on his cheeks. It subsided in the evening but it was still there.

Today I put on sunscreen but it came back. Do you think it could be a rash. And what can we do? Thank you I meant a reaction to the sun... not a rash! Thank you that's what we did. He recommended Benadryl and a cortisone cream!

Ideally, go to the pharmacy to show the pharmacist your rash since it is the first exposure of the year. He or she will be able to advise you better depending on the condition of your skin.
