My son has had a cold for 5 days and we have been doing Sinus Rinse and for the last 2 days he has had a dry cough while sleeping at night. What should I do?

He has a good appetite, still drinks his milk and water and does not have a temperature. So I gave him the helixia syrup recommended by the pharmacist, how long does tik effect and is correct what I do? He also has a humidifier in his room to help him but I don't know if it's the best method, it's tempered at 50%.

Hello Ma'am,
Helixia syrup is no better than just taking a spoonful of honey in my opinion. And the honey can be given whenever the child starts coughing again, which is not the case with the syrup.
How many times a day do you do the Sinus Rinse? And what is the last time of day you do it (at dinner, bedtime, etc.)?

I always do the sinus rinse before his two naps, one of which is in the morning and the other in the afternoon. And I do the stjustine method in the morning and evening because the secretions come out more . Otherwise I lift the mattress of his bassibette and his room is always between 47-50% humidity so not dry. His cough is dry and not greasy since his secretions are more liquid and less thick than at the beginning of the week but I don't like to hear him coughing at night 😔 it mempeche to sleep ... I don't know what to do as an alternative honestly ??

Indeed, you seem to have some very very good techniques already!
There is no other thing to do in my opinion. And the syrup, in my opinion it won't make a difference.
I rarely recommend it, but if the dry cough is present at night, you can try giving a small dose of Tempra™/Tylenol™. The sugar in the product, as well as the viscosity of the product, sometimes cuts the cough off at once.
So don't give up! The cough should end in a few days along with the cold!
Good night :)
Alexander
