Hello ma'am, It is practically impossible to make a determination without first seeing the lesions you are referring to (which is impossible here). So I recommend that you go to the pharmacy to show the lesions , either directly with your child or, even more applicable and discreet in your situation, bring a picture . 📷 The pharmacist on duty will be able to direct you to the right product based on his or her observations, or recommend a medical consultation if he or she feels it is necessary. Generally speaking, very red plated buttocks are often related to gluteal erythema . This skin irritation reaction can be caused by skin-urine contact time/excretion in diapers in young children as well as factors like being under occlusion, friction, etc. A complication of diaper rash can be superinfection, bacterial or fungal . On the other hand, if you have been using clotrimazole (an anti-fungal cream) for 6 days and there is no improvement, it is most likely not the cause of the redness . 😕 Sorry I can't be more helpful at this time.
