My 14 month old daughter has been waking up with a glued eye for several weeks. No redness at all and it doesn't seem to bother her. What should I do?

Good evening Madam,
In many cases, especially in winter, this is caused by an overflow of secretions in the nose.
In such a case, the first thing tried is to empty the nose before bedtime by using the technique described on pages 5 and 6 of the following documents:
https://www.chusj.org/getmedia/d81f7af6-a93c-4e86-9011-f523e13279a8/depliant_F-886_hygiene-nasale.pdf.aspx?ico=.pdf
.
You will need about 5 mL of saline water per nostril.
Even if little secretion comes out of the nose, I recommend you try the technique for 5 to 7 days to see if the eye will be improved.
Good evening,
