My 8 1/2 month old daughter has little red spots on her back, sides and neck. What is it?

-She has no known food allergies but yesterday she ate some spinach and that's when she developed the pimples (she had already eaten some...) -The pimples have been there since about 5:30 last night and she still has them at 12:30 today -She doesn't have a fever and doesn't seem uncomfortable

Hello Ma'am,
It is often impossible to know beyond a doubt the exact cause of pimples in a young child. When the pimples are not accompanied by fever and discomfort, there is no need to worry.
The cause of food is of course plausible, but so are several other causes (exposure on the skin to a new product, a small virus, etc.).
Just watch for the rash to progress. If the lesions are still present in 5 days, or if they increase in number within 24 hours, I invite you to consult.
I also invite you to avoid the sun for the next few days.
Happy day,
